1989 – The musical group Suroît followed a mucic tour of France. They were presented in the cities of Chapelle Gauthier, Seine and Marne. This was one of the worlds most famous festivals of traditional music.

October 29th, 2011 GimmeADream 1919 – The clerk of the National Bank was accused of having converted for his use a promissory note of $1,000 from the Company of William Leslie.
1946 - Transfer of Islands to the Diocese of Gaspé. The islands were under the Diocese of Charlottetown 128 years. Publication of the papal letter of July 20 was for this purpose.
